Hilltop Grove Estate
Hilltop Grove Estate was conceived by Jo in response to the challenges of aged care when her mother needed to go into care. She found the ideal location where there was a need and got the concept plan drawn up and negotiated with builders to design and build suitable homes.
The project was built in Jacoby St, Mundaring and consisted of 34 strata lots overlooking a central strip of bush and a restored C Class hospital that was converted into a Community Centre that included accomodation for a live in nurse, kitchen, recreation area and respite rooms.
This development set a precedent in Perth whereby residents owned their property, which was a spacious 3 x 2 home designed for wheel chairs and reaped the benefits of capital growth without pesky refurbishment deductions and Bonds. A one stop before High Care.
This project entailed financially complicated strategies to transition clients from their old home by sale and building the new home once the lot was purchased. The Mundaring Bendigo Bank was very helpful in supporting our strategies.
